The Mekons are a British punk and post-punk band formed in 1977 in Leeds, England. This Frank Kozik issue promoted the band's appearance at The Marquee in New York City on November 16th, 1991. The worldwide news in the poster world of his recent passing has created a surge of interest in his beloved material. Artist Frank Kozik got his start gaining popularity for designing posters around the Austin area in the late 80s and early 90s. His abilities grew and he has since become a member of the Stuckism art movement. His vast collection of beautiful work includes bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Stone Temple Pilots.
