It is with great joy that we offer this opportunity to own an affordable CGC authenticated and graded Reprint of one the most important and famous concert posters ever created. The FD 26 is without question one of the “Holy Grails” in the entire Psychedelic Concert Poster genre. This issue is on everybody’s top 3 lists of “most desirable” posters. This world famous piece of art was designed by the legendary 1960’s concert poster artists Stanley Mouse and the late Alton Kelley. The story of Mouse and Kelley searching the stacks at the San Francisco library for an appropriate illustration for the poster is well documented. The duo discovered this illustration by 19th century artist Edward Joseph Sullivan for an edition of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam.

According to the records we track this is the finest quality RP-2 to ever appear at public auction. In fact it's not even close. Of course it is also the very FIRST CGC graded example of this poster to ever appear at public auction. It is also our opinion that the RP-2 in this Gem condition is FAR rarer than First Print FD-26's that trade for $5 000-$10 000 and exhibit damage.

With CGC graded 9.4 First Print FD-26's easily worth $40 000-$50 000 this poster offers an incredible bargain. It features incredible bold and bright colors and razor sharp pinpoint corners. There are no nicks cuts tears pinholes or restoration. We expect crazy bidding on this piece as this opportunity may not present itself again for MANY years to come!
