This original double-sided handbill was created for the 1968 Northern California Folk-Rock Festival in Santa Clara California. The annual event drew some of the biggest acts of the day. This festival featured Jefferson Airplane on Saturday and The Doors on Sunday. Though we have offered the poster for this event before, this is the FIRST time we are offering the original handbill with CGC grading!
The additional festival acts included Big Brother and the Holding Company featuring Janis Joplin, The Youngbloods, The Electric Flag, Kaleidoscope, Taj Mahal, and Ravi Shankar. Although not mentioned in the promotional material, the Grateful Dead also performed.
It's no secret that CGC Graded items featuring The Doors, The Airplane, and Janis Joplin continue to enjoy worldwide demand. The incredibly limited availability of museum-quality material is far outweighed by the thousands of enthusiastic collectors in constant search of it!
