We are pleased to present the very FIRST CGC graded example of this MAJOR MUSEUM PIECE to ever appear at public auction! Anybody and everybody can understand THE FIRST and therefore THE FIRST of everything has an intrinsic desirability to people inside AND outside a collectible market.”
The poster offered here has been off the market since the 1980's. It is a very solid copy with the flaws noted in detail below. We also urge you to keep clicking on the magnifying glass at the top right of the photograph to get a super high def magnified picture to examine for yourself.
There is no doubt about the UNSURPASSED HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE of this FIRST EVER FAMILY DOG POSTER. Just 250 posters were originally printed and just 4 reported as unrestored copies have crossed the auction block in the past 10 years. Those copies brought $17 209 on 9/13 $37 950 on 3/15 $32 200 on 12/15 and $29 900 on 2/17. Of course NONE of these posters were independently authenticated and graded by CGC as being 100% Original and restoration free. We believe that independent CGC grading is particularly important on this issue as there are many restored copies floating around some where the work is very hard to detect.

Condition Details – There is evidence of tape that has been removed from the bottom right corner. 2 1/2 inches above the bottom right corner is a 3/8inch tear. 4 tiny pinholes in top left corner. 1 small pinhole top center. 1 tack hole and 5 tiny pinholes in top right corner. 1 tack hole and 1 pinhole bottom right corner. 3 pinholes bottom left corner. 1 pinhole under the "e" in Wes' signature. 1 tackhole to the left of the "L" in airplane.Light creases and handling in the upper left quadrant.
