This item is part of a long-held collection of vintage Baltimore punk material, which has just recently been unearthed for the first time! This rare, original cardboard Globe poster advertised punk, funk and new wave bands The Catholics, The Slickee Boys, The Alcoholics, Boy Meets Girl appearing at The Mt Washington Village in Baltimore Maryland on July 17th 1982. From its opening in 1929 until its closure in 2010, Globe Poster Company in Baltimore was the go-to place for musicians circuses drag races and concert producers for bold eye-catching letterpress advertising. It's no secret that Globe cardboard concert posters are the gold standard amongst advanced collectors. They rarely show up at public auction and when they do they are always met with enthusiastic bidding!
