1980 The Dead Kennedys Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables I.R.S. Records Promotional Poster Near Mint 83

This is the first example of this rare original promo poster to ever appear in our auction! Produced to promote the September 1980 release of the Dead Kennedys' first LP "Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables", this poster was distributed by Faulty Products Inc., a short-lived creative label related to I.R.S Records that produced many incredibly creative music groups before fizzling out in late 1982 / early 1983. The vast majority of the copies from the somewhat limited print run were folded for mailing to record stores exclusively, however THIS example remains UNfolded, as you can see. It was acquired in person at the Faulty Products building in Los Angeles by the consignor.
