This RARE Hip-Hop poster advertised De La Soul playing at Mazzo in the Rozengracht neighborhood in Amsterdam on April 3rd, 1995. De La Soul is an iconic American hip-hop group formed in Long Island, New York, in 1987. Consisting of members Posdnuos, Trugoy the Dove, and Maseo, the group is celebrated for their innovative approach to rap music. Their debut album, "3 Feet High and Rising" released in 1989, showcased their unique sampling techniques, clever wordplay, and positive, socially conscious themes, setting them apart from the gangsta rap prevalent at the time.
