Bette Midler's career took off in the early 1970s when she began performing in New York City's vibrant gay bathhouse scene. In 1972, her hard work paid off when she released her debut album, titled The Divine Miss M. The album was met with critical acclaim and commercial success, earning her a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Her distinct style, which often drew inspiration from the classic sounds of the past, set her apart from other artists of the time. This souvenir program is from her performances in 1973.
