A Collector's favorite in the early Bill Graham numbered series. The BG-5 original first printing poster is an early 1966 Wes Wilson design for a Jefferson Airplane run of shows at the Fillmore. This is an example of the relatively primitive designs of the first few images for the venue. You can see Wes Wilson's style develop and evolve in these early issues. Since the inception of PAE over 13 years ago we have consistently advised collectors to focus on the first 30 issues of the Bill Graham series. History has proved our advice was correct then and we are sticking with it now.
