This diminutive poster is strikingly designed and deeply saturated with color. While we and most other market participants have traditioanlly called this a small poster CGC has certified it as a handbill. The size is somewhere in between. Great Society featured a pre Airplane Grace Slick as their vocalist and her then husband Jerry Slick on Drums.

This lot epitomizes what a spectacular bargain these posters are. The matrix was a tiny San Francisco club that held about 150. How many posters/handbills could they possible produce to fill this small space? This piece is from early 1966 and is in museum quality un-improvable condition. It is the FIRST and only CGC graded example to ever appear at public auction. A superb collectible opportunity that may not present itself again for many years to come!
