This RARE poster was produced for an event called "Farewell to a Texas Summer" that took place at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas on August 26th, 1979. Performers included Rush, Foghat, The Little River Band, Billy Thorpe, Pat Travers, and Point Blank. Over 40,000 people attended the show. During Rush's set, the band debuted 2 brand new songs from the upcoming Permanent Waves album, and the large projection screen above the stage had to come down due to high winds.
Condition: Handling, four edge tears.
