This poster announced the 1969 New Orleans Pop Festival, held at the Louisiana International Speedway during Labor Day weekend. The absolutely stellar lineup consisted of Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, The Youngbloods, It's a Beautiful Day, Country Joe and the Fish, The Byrds, Canned Heat, Iron Butterfly, Santana, and many more! The festival occurred just two weeks after the legendary Woodstock, and featured a handful of the same performers. Many attendees thought of it as a "mini Woodstock".
