This unused ticket stub was for The Earl Scruggs Revue at the Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin, Texas on February 23rd, 1979. Historical unused tickets for iconic performers remain one of the most valued in the music memorabilia market today. The Armadillo opened in Austin just after the closing of the Vulcan Gas Company. It went on to become the premiere venue in that musically rich city from 1970-1980. The legendary music club offered an incredibly eclectic range of performers in its 10-year tenure. Collectible items from the Armadillo are amazing additions to any collection of historical musical ephemera!
