We are pleased to offer this RARE AOR issue in our auction for the very FIRST TIME! This original first printing poster was produced for Jefferson Airplane performing at Freeborn Hall, University of California in Davis on May 7th, 1967. This was just months after the band released their legendary second studio album, Surrealistic Pillow. Very few printings of this low-run piece were produced. The iconic lettering and design was created by Tom Morris, from the popular photo by Herb Greene. The printing is slightly off-register, however it may have been deliberate. We have only seen one other copy surface and that one was also slightly off-register. This very rare concert poster should not be overlooked and is one of the highlights of this auction!
