This ultra scarce, original handbill is appearing for the first time in a PAE auction in over 15 years! It features Steppenwolf, The Cleveland Wrecking Co and The Holden Caulfield on September 21st, 1968 at The Terrace Ballroom in Salt Lake City, Utah. Artwork was created by Michael Covey & Kenvin Lyman. The photo features Kenvin Lyman wearing a western outfit with a large black hat, with his cat on his shoulder. This was one of the earliest west coast Psychedelic rock concerts held at the Terrace Ballroom in 1968, held shortly before the release of Steppenwolf's 2nd, and perhaps MOST popular LP, which featured their hit single "MAGIC CARPET RIDE". It will be quite a while before you come across another copy of this EARLY Salt Lake City concert handbill in any other auction or ANYWHERE on the internet!
