This ultra rare, original printing poster was produced for the 1968 Pittsburgh Trips Festival held at Skibo Ballroom, Carnegie Mellon University on February 18th. Featured acts included The Grains of Sand (a somewhat popular garage rock band from Los Angeles), The Chico Hernandez Blues Band, Rebecca & The Sunnybrook Farmers, and The Underground Invasion. The artist for this poster is uncredited, however the design incorporates the number one comic book iconic superhero holding a yin yang symbol cloud surrounded by psych poster lettering of the era. We have never auctioned this rare, uncommon poster until now!
Condition: Paper loss bottom edge, tape on reverse, creases, pinhole, water stains.
