Original 1991 Frank Kozik poster designed for the Butthole Surfers appearing at the The Vatican in Houston during July 1991. The image design exhibits a great LSD joke and can only be fully appreciated by Kozik's wonderful sense of humor he would always so perfectly incorporate into his artwork. The worldwide news in the poster world of his recent passing has created a surge of interest in his beloved material. Artist Frank Kozik got his start gaining popularity for designing posters around the Austin area in the late 80s and early 90s. His abilities grew and he has since become a member of the Stuckism art movement. His vast collection of beautiful work includes bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Stone Temple Pilots.
