The poster was produced for their appearance at the Brown County Jamboree in Bean Blossom, Indiana on May 27th, 1956. Maybelle Carter and The Carter Sisters joined the Grande Ole Opry in 1950 and their performances became some of their most famous and valued work. This cardboard example here is one of the original Hatch file copies! A timeless treasure from the halls of American music history that was printed by The Hatch Poster Company of Nashville Tennessee. Hatch is the most notable letter press poster company of all time! They created some of the most valuable posters ever printed. To add even more this poster was culled from the company's files thereby explaining the folds. A real piece of Americana! Original cardboard posters are super popular and remain one of the most highly sought after type of concert memorabilia ever known.
