This cardboard poster was produced for American big band trombonist Warren Covington and Tommy Dorsey Orchestra at the Centennial Recreation Club in New York, NY on July 11th, 1961. Jazz trombonist and composer Tommy Dorsey was a big band legend during the 1940s. Unfortunately, his life was cut short in 1956 when he died in his sleep. Warren Covington took over the direction of his orchestra until later in 1961, after which point it was taken on by Sam Donahue.
