This rare, original first printing poster was produced for the Goose Lake Festival which took place in August 1970 at Goose Lake Park in Jackson, Michigan. The Grande Ballroom's Russ Gibb was involved with the festival production however his name did not appear on the posters or handbills advertising the bands & lineup - with the exception of the event program. The entertainment bill was extensive, including big names like Alice Cooper, James Gang, Mountain, The Stooges, Joe Cocker, Jethro Tull, Ten Years After, Chicago and many more. This is the FIRST example of this rare vintage poster to appear in our auction! We have previously auctioned the handbill, but never the poster until now!
