This handbill is appearing in our auction for the FIRST TIME! This piece advertised the "Electric Carnival", an event at the Long Beach Sports Arena on May 5th, 1968. The event was headlined by Buffalo Springfield and also featured performances from Country Joe & The Fish, Canned Heat, and The Hook. The Southern California folk-rock band Buffalo Springfield was the launching pad for the talents of Neil Young and Stephen Stills, as well as Richie Furay and Jim Messina. Items featuring this group are highly sought out!
