Lollapalooza is an annual music festival that was started by Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction in 1991. It has since become one of the longest-running music festivals in the United States. From 1991 until 1997, Lollapalooza was a touring festival that booked dates across the U.S. and Canada. The poster we are offering here was designed to promote a stop (second night added!) on the 1994 tour in the World Music Theatre in Chicago. That year's lineup included Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys, George Clinton & P-Funk, Tribe Called Quest, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Breeders, Flaming Lips and more!
