This is an original unused Bob Dylan Concert Ticket from Milwaukee Wisconsin. After Dylan's famous 1964 Halloween show at New York's Philharmonic Hall he embarked on a run of shows across the country in late November making his way out to the west coast for concerts in San Francisco Long Beach and San Diego.
The show at the Oriental Theatre in Milwaukee showcased the singer near the end of his folk-political song era heading towards his break into Electric rock 4 or 5 months later. His 4th album "Another Side of Bob Dylan" had just been released 3 months before this concert. Early Bob Dylan material rarely sells at public auction as Dylan pieces are almost always held back primarily trading privately for some other major rarity instead of being sold for currency.
Unused Concert Tickets for iconic performers like Dylan and The Beatles are highly sought after and remain one of the most valued in the music memorabilia market today. Mainly focusing on posters and handbills we at PAE seldom see them come through the door so this is a real treat for us!
