This poster is the very first in Victor Moscoso’s Neon Rose series of concert posters. The Neon Rose posters were produced to advertise concerts at the small San Francisco club The Matrix. Legendary poster artist Victor Moscoso designed printed and distributed the posters himself.

Unlike the rest of the series the NR-0 was printed only one time in an extremely limited quantity. According to Eric King author of ”The Collectors Guide to Psychedelic Concert Posters Postcards and Handbills 1965-1973” NR- 0 was printed in quantities of less than 500 probably in the 300 range. Conversely the rest of the series was printed in quantities of 2000 and several were reprinted. Every serious concert poster collector strives to have a Moscoso in their collection. Here is a wonderful opportunity to add a museum quality example to yours!

This is the first CGC graded example of this poster to appear at public auction and how long it will be until an equal copy comes along is anyone’s guess.
