This Van Morrison original concert poster from a 1974 performance at Pittsburgh's Syria Mosque displays a great photo of the singer from that era. Van Morrison's illustrious career started with the 1960s garage rock band "Them". From there he created one of the most prolific and long running solo careers of any of the 1960s performers. Morrison is known for his unique blend of blue-eyed soul jazz and R&B, and has created some of the music world's finest hits along the way. Although he has been known to be a mercurial live performer, when he was on his game there was none finer.
