This VERY RARE original Globe cardboard poster from February 1975 promoted a "Oldies but Goodies" show at Florida A&M University featuring Little Richard, Joe Tex, The Delfonics, Pigmeat Markham, and more! This is the first and only example of this scarce poster we have ever seen or auctioned. From its opening in 1929 until its closure in 2010, Globe Poster Company in Baltimore was the go-to place for musicians circuses drag races and concert producers for bold eye-catching letterpress advertising. It's no secret that Globe cardboard concert posters are the gold standard amongst advanced collectors. They rarely show up at public auction and when they do they are always met with enthusiastic bidding!
