This is a pristine 3-day ticket from the Trips Festival and Acid Test in Vancouver July 29-31 1966. It matches the poster in the previous lot. The ticket measures 4 1/4” x 6 ½”. The ticket states ” You are invited to participate in the limit of the marvelous!" Tickets such as this are very valuable and highly sought after by collectors today particularly since the value of the posters from these shows are out of reach for many collectors. .
***This ticket is NOT CGC authenticated and graded simply because it is not eligible for the service. This ticket is as fresh as the day it was created. It is a true miracle to have survived in this state of preservation. There are no bumps creases or ANY sign of handling. It would make an excellent pair to the Finest Known example of the poster for this event that is also offered in this auction in the preceeding lot.
Another copy of this ticket that was cataloged as near mint brought $2860 almost 5 years ago on 11/8/12. A lesser quality example brought $1732 on 9/8/16.
