1969—Winterland—John Mayall—PAE Graded MINT 95

This somewhat gruesome yet incredibly creative poster was designed by the late Greg Irons. Irons was an underground comix artist and significant contributor to the San Francisco poster scene. His cartoon like imagery will remain among the most memorable of the entire genre. His work with Last Gasp comix will be remembered as some of the finest underground comic illustration work ever. Greg spent the last years of his life studying tattoo art and was run down in the streets of Bangkok in while perusing that interest.This Original Printing measures 13 5/8 x 28 5/8”. The paper is fully intact. The only thing that gets in the way of this getting out top grade is some light mottling in the white areas. A truly creepy colorful and fun poster .
