Here’s a fabulous ultra clean and undamaged example of the reprint signed by the two legendary artists Stanley Mouse and the late Alton Kelley. This is a very popular early Family Dog poster. Artist Don Van Vliet AKA Captain Beefheart brought his avant garde brand of rock music to the Avalon just a few months after the Avalon Ballroom opened in 1966. This poster for that event utilizes an illustration from late 19th century German cartoonist Heinrich Kley and is truly striking.
This is a great poster for the beginning poster collector to get a lot for very little. You get a classic image hand signed by two of the most legendary artists of all time and independent third party authentication and grading by CGC. A super starter piece!
