This cardboard poster was produced by Hatch Poster Company in Nashville, and advertised Waylon Jennings & the Waylors along with Mel Tillis & The Statesiders at the Portland Civic Auditorium in Portland Oregon on February 21st 1975. This is the first example of this rare poster we have ever auctioned! 

 

In 1975, Waylon Jennings LP release "Dreaming My Dreams", which included the #1 single "Are You Sure Hank Done it This Way?", became his first album to be certified Gold by the RIAA. It was the first of his six consecutive solo studio albums to be certified Gold or higher. That same year, he was declared winner of The Male Vocalist of the Year Award by The Country Music Association.

 

This poster is a timeless treasure from the halls of American music history that was printed by The Hatch Poster Company of Nashville Tennessee. Hatch is the most notable letterpress poster company of all time! They created some of the most valuable posters ever printed. A real piece of Americana!
