This RARE issue was created by artist Jim Blashfield. It advertised the Steve Miller Band, Alice Cooper, and Total Eclipse at the Masonic Temple in Portland, OR on for two nights in July 1969. This was the month after the release of Alice Cooper's debut LP,  Pretties for You.  Alice Cooper has played a huge part in shaping the sound and look of heavy metal for several decades and has been described as one of the first artists who introduced horror imagery to rock and roll.

 

Artist Jim Blashfield not only made several notable contributions to this famed poster series, he went on to become a highly regarded filmmaker who is responsible for several well-known music videos and short films.
