May of 1968 brought the Northern California Folk Festival to the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose California. This two day festival featured several of the most popular bands of the day. The Doors and the Animals were the headliners of the Festival and San Francisco favorites such as Big Brother Jefferson Airplane and The Dead also shared the stage. The use of the photogenic Jim Morrison as the central image makes this a very a striking and memorable advertisement. A cornerstone of any true 60’s poster collection This Original Printing measures 14 ¼” x 21 ¾” and is in the exact same condition as the moment it was created over 40 years ago. The colors jump off the paper and the poster is crisp with razor sharp corners. A classic image that will be right at home in any collection of classic pieces from the era! Un=improvable in every respect! This poster is featured in the Art of Rock Plate #2.341
