The Grateful Dead took the stage at The Shrine in Los Angeles for 2 nights in the beginning of one of their most amazing & memorable performance years 1978. The poster was designed by renowned artist Randy Tuten. The Uncle Sam skeleton figure was created by Gary Gutierrez and appeared in The Grateful Dead movie.

Adjacent to the Shrine Auditorium is the historic Shrine Exposition Hall. Concerts at the Shrine were LA’s major contribution to the sixties live music scene and featured all of the top performers of the day all in big-time Hollywood style at the 500+ seat venue. Shrine Auditorium retained much of that very same vibe through the 70s and onward. Rarely surfacing at public auction for collectors this Bill Graham poster is certainly not one to be overlooked! Original First Printing with no restoration and no pinholes!
