This uncut Litho proof print features the album artwork from the Grateful Dead's Wake of the Flood. The album was released in 1973 and the great Rick Griffin created the artwork. As talented as Griffin was with pen and ink his touch with a brush was equally skillful. After his conversion to Christianity the artist devoted a great deal of his work to religious themes. The image of the Reaper came from Rick's visual interpretation of scripture after reading Revelations.
