1956 Hot From Harlem Revue Kiki Globe Cardboard Poster

This cardboard piece printed by Globe Poster Co. was printed in1956 to advertise the Hot From Harlem Revue and Kiki at the Gregory Theatre in Oakville, Ontario. From its opening in 1929 until its closure in 2010 Globe Poster Company in Baltimore was the go-to place for musicians circuses drag races and concert producers for bold eye-catching letterpress advertising. It's no secret that Globe cardboard concert posters are the gold standard amongst advanced collectors. They rarely show up at public auction and when they do they are always met with enthusiastic bidding!
