1970 FD-700630 The Kinks 660 Great Highway Poster 7.5

The Kinks were amongst the British invasion's most influential and entertaining groups. Their chart topping hit "You Really Got Me" propelled them to great heights in a short time in 1964. This original poster from 6 years later advertises the band appearing at the legendary 660 Great Highway venue.

Approximately seven months after The Family Dog were forced out of the Avalon Ballroom Chet Helms opened up shop on the Great Highway. The site was at the former Edgewater Ballroom part of the Playland at the Beach complex. Due to budget constraints relatively few posters were produced for the shows at 660 Great Highway and they were printed in small quantities. This super rare original pre-concert first printing is 100% Original with no restoration!
