Original 1987 Frank Kozik poster designed for Sonic Youth promoting a show at the Cave Club in Austin, Texas on September 21st. Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon's Sonic Youth have been widely appreciated for reinventing fresh electric guitar sounds throughout the world of indie and alternative rock. The show in this tiny Austin venue was relatively early in their career, way before the band became a household name. (Note they are called "The" Sonic Youth on the poster).

Artist Frank Kozik got his start gaining popularity for designing posters around the Austin area in the late 80s and early 90s. His abilities grew and he has since become a member of the Stuckism art movement. His vast collection of beautiful work includes bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Stone Temple Pilots.
