This is the first appearance of this beautiful Bob Dylan & The Band "Before the Flood" 1974 tour headshop poster to appear in our auction! Copyright 1974 by the photographer Nick Eldridge.
The live double LP entitled "Before the Flood" was recorded during this 1974 American tour and released on June 20, 1974, on Asylum Records in the U.S. and Island Records in the UK. It was Dylan's first live album release and peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200, reaching #8 on the UK popular album chart, with the Recording Industry Association of America later certifying it Platinum! This poster will look great in a frame!
This full color photograph portrait of Dylan was taken from one of his appearances during his 1974 "Before the Flood" tour with his old recording studio group & partners "The Band". This tour, Bob Dylan's first in eight years, consisted of 40 concerts, 30 dates, and 21-cities, over two months launched on January 3, 1974, ending on February 14, 1974, and was one of the largest such undertakings of its era, taking place entirely in indoor sports arenas.
