Presenting this original German concert poster featuring AC/DC! The band played at Messehalle 8 in Hamburg, Germany on November 23, 1979. Metal legends Judas Priest joined the bill. This was just a few months after AC/DC released their sixth studio album, Highway to Hell, which is noted at the bottom of the poster. This was also the final tour with singer Bon Scott, who died four weeks after the tour's completion.
Noted long-time poster historian & expert Dennis King believes this black & white version Germany AC/DC issue is more rare and difficult to find than the color versions we have previously auctioned. A color version of the Hemmerleinhalle poster from the same tour reached $2,400.00 in our May 2022 Mega Auction.
