The work of Fillmore poster artist David Singer is a sub genre of poster art in itself. Singer’s s output was the largest of any single Fillmore poster creator. The artists’ photo collage style sometimes gets overlooked initially as it is not as obvious as some of his predecessors illustrations. However as collectors dig in a bit they discover the great depth beauty and symbolism in this body of work. Advanced collectors realize that it is just a matter of time before Singer posters increase in value and prestige.

This poster for a June ’68 Fillmore West appearance of Quicksilver is another gem from the desk of David Singer.  The artist use of juxtaposed images is the true fun in this art. Here we have Rockettes /burlesque legs holding a Buffalo nickel in a old west setting….. Nothing unusual here people …keep moving…

In every collectibles market there are many collectors that will only be satisfied with owning “the best of the best.” The quality of this poster exemplifies what they are looking for. As such you can bid with confidence knowing that this lot become even more desirable with each passing year.
