1969 Jeff Beck Canned Heat B. B. King Globe Poster

Presenting this RARE cardboard Globe poster from March 16th, 1969! This piece announced an event at the Baltimore Civic Center featuring Canned Heat, the Jeff Beck Group, B.B. King, and Baltimore band King Solomon's Mind. This is an incredible poster that we have never offered in our auction before and is unlikely to appear again anytime soon.

From its opening in 1929 until its closure in 2010 Globe Poster Company in Baltimore was the go-to place for musicians circuses drag races and concert producers for bold eye-catching letterpress advertising. It's no secret that Globe cardboard concert posters are the gold standard amongst advanced collectors. They rarely show up at public auction and when they do they are always met with enthusiastic bidding!
