Here we have a rare poster featuring John Cale performing at the Oxford Ale House in New Haven, CT on June 20th, 1979! Though Cale is perhaps best known for his tenure with the Velvet Underground, he had left the band more than a decade before this show and embarked on a solo career. He has gone on to release dozens of solo records in addition to scoring a number of films over the years. He continues to release new music up to this day!
