Songs by Creedence Clearwater Revival are some of the most memorable and catchy tunes of the era.Unfortunately John Fogerty signed away his publishing rights to an unscrupulous manager who was also the owner of the band’s label Fantasy records Saul Zantz. The final insult came when Zantz sued Fogerty for copying his own style in the Fogerty tune “Old Man Down The Road”.
