This Grateful Dead poster advertised a two-night run at Madison Square Garden in October 1983. This run marked the FINAL time that Saint Stephen was ever played in New York!
Just last month, the Dead released a box set titled In and Out of the Garden, featuring six previously unreleased live shows from Madison Square Garden from 1981-1983, including both shows advertised on this poster!
Madison Square Garden was the site of some of the most magical Dead shows, and was a favorite venue of Jerry Garcia. This is the first time this poster is appearing in our auction!
