1971 Allman Brothers Band Charlotte Cardboard Poster

Here we have a RARE cardboard poster from December 1971 featuring the Allman Brothers! This show took place just a few months after the death of the band's leader, the legendary Duane Allman. The band would hit the studio a few months later to record their renowned album Eat A Peach. The band photo exhibited on this poster was originally shot with the full band but the promoters had Duane removed from the image when it was used for production of this Charlotte Pre-Concert poster. If you are familiar with the Hampton poster from this same week of shows, you'll notice Duane is still in the same band photo. This lot is a great piece of Allman's history!
