1968 - Hippodrome – Kaleidoscope – PAE Graded Mint “93”

This large one color glossy poster was created to promote a Kaleidoscope concert at the Hippodrome In San Diego. The lettering proves that the artist was clearly influenced by Rick Griffin whose lettering style became almost a standard typeset for psychedelic art.The poster measures a large 17 15/32” x 22 16/32” There are no tears holes creases tape pulls or missing paper. There is a bottom left bump some handling that is noticeable due to the reflectivity of the glossy stock and a smudge in the bottom right corner. This poster is the only one we’ve ever handled from this event. Another example of a small regional poster that is sure to appreciate in coming years.
