This is an original handbill for the Bath Festival of Blues & Progressive Music held on June 27-28 1970 in Somerset England. Pink Floyd Led Zeppelin Frank Zappa Jefferson Airplane as well as many other incredible acts were on the bill.
Although the lineup was stellar the festival was not without its own problems varying from equipment issues and heavy rain which caused delays and many bands had to play to diminished crowds in the small hours of Monday morning.
The festival was captured on both film and on video but much of the footage was lost for many years. Some have now been recovered but the black-and-white footage is of poor quality. Nevertheless the event was historic simply for the lineup alone and this handbill is 100% Original with no restoration.
