1967- Pauley Ballroom – Country Joe and the Fish – PAE Graded Mint “97”

Although not remembered as well for their record sales as the Dead and The Airplane Country Joe and The Fish were one of the most popular bay area bands of the day. They were partially responsible for bridging the folk scene with the psychedelic rock movement. Country Joe and The Fish are also well represented in the body of vintage rock poster art. Many early Country Joe and The Fish posters were from shows in Berkeley California where Country Joe began as a street musician on Telegraph Avenue. This poster announces an event at Berkeley’s Pauley Ballroom and promised “A loom of Light and Sound” A visual and audial? fashion show.The poster measures 14 8/32” x 22 4/32” There are no tears holes creases tape pulls or missing paper or restoration of any kind.
