This limited edition, uncut proof poster is signed by the artist, Alders and numbered 319/500.
The Grateful Dead's annual Mardi Gras celebration was a real treat for their loyal fans. The tradition began in the 1980s and was held in Oakland, first at the Kaiser and later at the Coliseum. With less hype than the New Years Run the bands generally were at the top of their game. The crowd was also treated to a New Orleans Mardi Gras parade complete with floats and revelers.
