1971 John Mayall Curtis Nixon Hall Cardboard Poster

This poster features "Britain's Blues King" John Mayall! It advertised Mayall's appearance at Curtis Hixon Hall in Tampa, FL on May 8th, 1971. This concert would have been right around the time of the release of the album Turning point, that features the classic Blues Harp tune Room to Move. By the start of the 1970s Mayall had relocated in the US, where he spent most of the next 15 years recording with local musicians for various labels.
